Terms and Conditions

1 Reach

The General Terms and Conditions in force at the time of use (registration or other use) establish all legal relations between El Concurso de Mathematics Pangea Ronda de Segovia, 2, 28005 Madrid and the user.

2 Registration

(1) The user or member of Pangea has to register before using the above services.
(2) There is no legal right to registration.
(3) Pangea reserves the following:
– Publication of user contributions
– Modification of services or the introduction of divergent additional services
– Modification and expansion of the Internet platform in content, scope and structure
(4) User or Pangea member may cancel their registration at any time without notice for any reason. Cancellation can be done by email to info@concursopangea.com
Upon termination of the registration relationship, personal data will be deleted.
(5) With the formalization of registration and registration, it is understood that the user accepts and consents to the Privacy Policy and the Legal Notice corresponding.

 

3 Participation in the contest

(1) All students residing in Spain studying in the 4th grade of primary school to 2nd grade of Baccalaureate can participate in the contest.
(2) There is no legal right to participate in the second round or final round.

3) Pangea does not assume in any case the financial costs involved in the travel or transportation of the finalist students to the Competition venues to carry out the Final Round or attend the Ceremony. This expense will always be assumed by families or educational centers.
(5) Pangea explicitly points out that images of participants may be used for advertising purposes, flyers and brochures, as well as on the home page. If parents or participants do not wish to do so, they must notify the Association in writing (info@concursopangea.com) and Pangea will take it into account, of course. The personal data of the participants is deleted by Pangea at the end of each edition. These are not passed on in any way to third parties.

4 Customer Service / Support

The user can send questions or queries regarding their participation in Pangea or the services of the websites through the contact form, email or by calling us by phone.

5 Responsibility of the participating educational center

(1) It is the responsibility of the teachers who register their center and their participating students to provide correct and true personal data. If teachers provide false or outdated information, Pangea is exempt from any responsibility that this may cause.
(2) It is the responsibility of the staff of each educational center to comply with the rules of the 1st round tests.

6 Responsibility of Pangea

1) Any claim for damages is excluded.
(2) Pangea's liability is excluded for slight negligence, provided that these are not contractual obligations, physical integrity or claims under the Product Liability Act. This also applies to breaches of duty by agents of Pangea.
(3) Furthermore, Pangea assumes – in accordance with the previous paragraph – that it will not be responsible for any inconvenience to the user due to a temporary unavailability of our website, or that may arise due to similar technical problems. The liability of the Pangea Mathematics Competition Association is excluded for system failures, interruptions or errors during data transfer, as well as for non-compliance with the corresponding instructions that this entails for the property.

7 Privacy

Pangea is especially sensitive in handling all personal information that you send to us. Therefore, the Pangea Mathematics Contest complies with all applicable legal provisions regarding data protection (Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 on the Protection of Personal Data, European Data Protection Directives and other protection legislation. of data). Pangea cannot, without their authorization, reveal the personal data of the participants to third parties, or otherwise make them known to third parties.

 

8 Final provisions

(1) Pangea reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, without giving reasons. Pangea would notify the registered educational centers of the changes in the Terms and Conditions. If the registered school does not raise a claim for the new Terms and Conditions within two weeks of notification, the new Terms and Conditions will be deemed to have been accepted by the registered participants. Pangea will alert the user in the notification of their right to object to the new Terms and Conditions.
(2) If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected. Ineffective regulations should be replaced by a valid provision that fulfills the intended purpose of the invalid provision to the greatest extent possible in its regulations. This applies to contractual gaps.
(3) The place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permitted, is at the headquarters of the Pangea Association in Madrid.
